What is The Lion’s Den?
The Lion’s Den is a business coaching module aimed at helping teenagers turn their amazing problem solving ideas into profitable vehicles of change.
The aim of The Lion’s Den is to: –
- Help build a world that Nipsey and Marcus Garvey visualized
- Encourage young people to start their own business
- To introduce the concept of Ujamma to our youth (Ujamma means Collective Economics)
- Give our youth the support, guidance and experience necessary to achieve greatness
- To connect our youth with a GOAL MODELS, mentors and community champions (the Lions)
- To have our youth feeling like assets instead of liabilities
- To spread good entrepreneurial news throughout the community
Through The Lion’s Den we want our learners to be able to: –
- Understand the purpose and objectives of this business entrepreneurship programme
- Consider the pros and cons of setting up their own business
- Understand branding, financial literacy and social literacy
- Act responsibly whilst on their journey to prosperity
- Create a business that is making a minimum of £1k a month.
