What is The Lion’s Den?

The Lion’s Den is a business coaching module aimed at helping teenagers turn their amazing problem solving ideas into profitable vehicles of change.

The aim of The Lion’s Den is to: –

  • Help build a world that Nipsey and Marcus Garvey visualized
  • Encourage young people to start their own business
  • To introduce the concept of Ujamma to our youth (Ujamma means Collective Economics)
  • Give our youth the support, guidance and experience necessary to achieve greatness
  • To connect our youth with a GOAL MODELS, mentors and community champions (the Lions)
  • To have our youth feeling like assets instead of liabilities
  • To spread good entrepreneurial news throughout the community

Through The Lion’s Den we want our learners to be able to: –

  • Understand the purpose and objectives of this business entrepreneurship programme
  • Consider the pros and cons of setting up their own business
  • Understand branding, financial literacy and social literacy
  • Act responsibly whilst on their journey to prosperity
  • Create a business that is making a minimum of £1k a month.
