56 Black Men: Why Are You Afraid?

15 Sep 2019

Yes, there are roles outside rap for black men in the music industry – uncover how to access them at a panel discussion.

Our panellists highlight how it is possible to access the business side of the industry, touching on their own stories and revealing the issues they’ve faced around stereotyping and being confused for the artists.

Since its launch in December 2018, the 56 Black Men movement, founded by Cephas Williams, has been breaking down naive stereotypes around black men and celebrating their achievements with campaigns across London.

This event is presented in association with Indaba X.
