Channel the joy and happiness of Dexta Daps’ music as he takes the Meltdown stage with his fusion of reggae, pop, R&B and soul. A dancehall singjay recording artist and songwriter, Dexta is inspired to relieve the monotony of daily life with lyrics inviting a celebratory side of life and love, delivered melodies with sensuality.

Hear the hits that put him on the reggae dancehall scene, like ‘Morning Love’ and ‘7 Eleven’, when he takes the Royal Festival Hall stage.

He’s joined by I Wayne, one of Jamaica’s foremost Rastafarian reggae artists, committed to delivering consciousness raising, uncompromising convictions through his music. His intricately crafted rhythms, punctuated by drum beats, snappy horns and chiming keyboards, have made him a fan favourite. I Wayne has built his reputation by writing songs about big social issues, and you can hear his high vocal range for yourself as he performs hits like ‘Can’t Satisfy Her’ live
