Join Stephen Bourne speaking on his latest award-winning book Black Poppies. It informs us of the experiences of black men and women, from the trenches to the music halls during WWI. Stephen Bourne is a writer, film and social historian, specialising in black culture. The BBC has recognised his work for discovering untold stories. There is also an opportunity to view the Black Poppies Exhibition in the foyer of the Keyworth Centre.#The talk will be followed by a reception.
