Cherise & University of Birmingham Jazz Orchestra

Friday 16 June

University Jazz Orchestra welcome emerging young soul singer, Cherise, as guest artist as they perform music from her upcoming album release ahead of her performances at the Love Supreme jazz festival in July.

The orchestra brings together jazz musicians from across the UK who are currently studying a variety of subjects at the University of Birmingham under the direction of adopted brummie, Scottish drummer Jonathan Silk. Unique orchestrations and Cherise’s soulful song writing come together for this one off gig.

This performance is presented in partnership with University Music at the University of Birmingham.
