Shrines by Honey Williams: Live Art Performance

Thursday 16 December 2021

In a world where Big Black Women are often sexualised or dismissed, this performance centres them – as the artist centres herself and her experience – by subverting the term ‘BBW’ and using it to praise instead of exploit. With this piece, Williams aims to work towards eradicating systemic oppression while empowering black women.

This performance is a new commission and is currently being developed, watch this space for more info!
