The Woven Stories Of The Kente Cloth

Saturday 24th October 2015

Many different stories can be unravelled from African Kente cloth. Here the stories of the cloth will be unwrapped for you in the traditional oral technique of a Griot (storytelling). The workshop will also consist of a short film and animation to reveal the history and art of Kente. You will have the opportunity to create your own print on a t-shirt, learn to wrap yourself in traditional cloth and have a portrait taken. (All for Free)
