Featuring award-winning dancer Madhavi Mudgal, Vistar is a chance to experience the traditional dance form of odissi in a contemporary framework.

While Odissi is typically a solo performance, Vistar enhances the classical dance style by inviting a group of dancers on to the stage. By expanding the structure, the abstract (nritta) and expressional (abhinaya) are exaggerated to form a unique synthesis of ‘then’ and ‘now’.
