Sunday 8th May

Melanin Markets is back and bringing vibrant music, food, drink, art, homeware, clothing and much more, to the Royal Exchange Theatre, in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Join us for a colossal celebration of Black British culture, as Melanin Markets showcases the wonderful range of Black Owned Business’ here in the UK.

Melanin Markets Manchester debuted at Contact Theatre in 2021. After a successful launch, founders Bianca Danielle and Kelly Morgan, are bringing it back, bigger and better than ever.

“We are really excited to have Melanin Markets takeover such a huge, history filled and resilient space as The Great Hall. We created this event to provide a place for EVERYONE to actively support and engage with Black owned businesses and to be able to do this slap bang in the City Centre is monumental” – Bianca Danielle, Melanin Markets co-founder

This event is FREE to attend and inclusive to EVERYONE – no need to book, just turn up!

VENUE: Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann’s Square, Manchester M2 7DH

DATE: Sunday 8th May 2022

TIME: 12-5PM

Add the date to your diary and come on down and shop, support and learn about a variety of incredible Black businesses, who cannot wait to meet you.

THE ORGANISERS BEHIND THE EVENT:

Created by Bianca Danielle and Kelly Morgan, two Manchester based, Black female entrepreneurs addressing the lack of diverse representation, inclusion and opportunities for people who look like them within the Business sector.

Last year their December christmas themed event saw 42 Black businesses showcasing their products and services, with over 1000 people attending the event and over £25,000 made in house. This year there will be over 50 vendors, interactivity, live music and performers and so much more!
