30th Annual AfroQuiz: Participant registration for Grades 4-6

Saturday 26 February 2022

The Jeopardy-style quiz show for youth in Edmonton is back for its 30th year! Our theme for 2022 is “Black To The Future.”

AfroQuiz is an annual Jeopardy-style quiz competition for kids of all ages celebrating the rich history of people of African and Caribbean descent around the globe.

AfroQuiz is free and open to the community at large and aims to instill a sense of pride and appreciation of black history amongst the city’s youth.

As with Jeopardy, participants are given study material to review before the event. CCACH will be hosting various study and practice sessions for students between December and February.

AfroQuiz serves the youth of diverse cultural backgrounds in Edmonton and the greater community.

Important note: If the category is marked sold out, it means that all the spots are filled. However, please click on the “Join Waitlist” button and submit the contestant’s details. Spots sometimes open when a registered contestant withdraws due to unforeseen circumstances and we bump up those on the waitlist. We encourage the student to still review the materials so they are prepared in case a spot opens up for them.
